DMCA / Copyright Notice
Procedure for reporting claimed copyright infringement.
Effective April 27, 2026 · v2026-04-27
Overview
ForkScorerespects the intellectual property of others. If you believe content available through the Service infringes a copyright you own or control, you may submit a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (the "DMCA"), 17 U.S.C. § 512.
Submitting a knowingly false DMCA notice may result in liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees, under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f). Please review the requirements below carefully and consult counsel if you are unsure whether the use is infringing.
How to Submit a Takedown Notice
Send a written notice to our designated agent, including all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or person authorized to act on their behalf;
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works at the Service, a representative list);
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing or the subject of infringing activity, with information reasonably sufficient to allow us to locate it (URL is best);
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email);
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
Designated Agent for Notice
Designated Agent: Edward McNichols, on behalf of Adkins Labs, a sole proprietorship operated by Edward McNichols
Email: dmca@forkscore.ai

Operator note: this designation will be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2). Until that registration is complete, statutory safe harbor under § 512(c) is not available; however, ForkScore will honor takedown notices received in accordance with the procedure above and remove allegedly infringing material promptly upon valid notice.
Counter-Notification
If you believe content of yours was removed or disabled in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the address above containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material removed or disabled and the location at which it appeared before removal;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or for any district in which Adkins Labs may be found if your address is outside the U.S., and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notification (or its agent).
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may restore the disputed material in 10–14 business days unless the original notifier files a court action seeking a restraining order against the user.
Repeat Infringer Policy
Adkins Labs terminates, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers, in accordance with 17 U.S.C. § 512(i).
