Ingredients (11 items)

4 servings

0/11 gathered

  • 1 lb chicken breast β€” thinly sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 bell pepper β€” sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 4 cloves garlic β€” minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger β€” grated
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tsp cornstarch β€” mixed with 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds β€” for garnish

Instructions

  1. 1

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat until smoking.

  2. 2

Add chicken in a single layer. Sear without moving for 2 minutes, then stir-fry until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

    ~3 min
  3. 3

In the same wok, stir-fry broccoli, bell pepper, and snap peas for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.

    ~3 min

Tip: Don't overcrowd the wok β€” vegetables should sizzle, not steam.

  4. 4

Add garlic and ginger, stir for 30 seconds until fragrant.

  5. 5

Return chicken to the wok. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch slurry. Toss until sauce thickens and coats everything.

  6. 6

Garnish with sesame seeds. Serve over steamed rice.
